Joe Glasman

Joe Glasman is the Founder of Sayitmessages.com and has over 25 years in the music business. After leaving medical school to pursue a career in music, Joe served an apprenticeship as a studio producer. He recorded a number of artists such as Mungo Jerry, Graham Gouldman and Imagination but after chart success in Europe and a number of gold records, he decided to pursue his first love, composition.

Then followed a very successful career writing music for TV commercials and creating audio branding. Joe has created TV campaign music and audio branding for many of the world’s biggest brands including: BBC World News, Exxon, Shell, Samsung, Audi, Ford, Chrysler, Orange, Nationwide, Merrill Lynch and Mars. His work this year features not just audio branding for Samsung and BBC’s HD channel, but commissioned song writing for record release. In fact Joe has won some 25 international awards – approximately one for every year in the business - including two Clios.

In 2004 Joe asked himself why his mobile phone, an audio communication device, is equipped to take pictures and send them to others but not to send songs and poetry. So he researched the market and found that there was nothing worthwhile to send.

Over the next three years Joe combined his background in commercials and audio branding with his song writing and studio production background and started to produce short messages that express and convey powerful emotions. In 2007 Joe ran a pilot to test if there was a demand for his idea and the feedback received led to the creation of www.sayitmessages.com in December 2008.
